Facility Description:
A unique wilderness recovery program located in the beautiful wilderness of Southern Utah, Passages offers a holistic approach to recovery.  This is the perfect environment for people in recovery who feel uncomfortable in a clinical, hospital-like environment.  Your ceiling is the sky, your four walls are North, South, East, and West. The physical journey maps your internal journey to a place of healthy recovery from substance abuse and issue such as depression and anxiety.

Treatment Philosophy:
Here at Passages to Recovery, we are not interested in labeling people as "addicts" or "alcoholics," we are here to help you achieve your goals.  We merge the 12 step process with an experiential journey of self-discovery with a focus on the special needs of young adults. The wilderness serves as a dramatic back drop for change – the journey through the awe-inspiring Western wilderness maps the internal journey toward wholeness and joy.

Family Program:
When a person chooses to engage in mind altering substances, they do so at the expense of displacing relationships with all others.  The traditional peoples of North America used the term “Other” to include ones relationship to not only other humans but, all living things including the changing of the seasons.  The Passages to Recovery experience fundamentally reverses the addictive process for you and your family. 

12 Step Involvement
 Passages follows the 12 step principles of recovery in an environment that is particularly conducive to embracing something greater than one’s self: Mother Nature.  The 12 Step Model does not "make" you do anything. It offers suggestions that you can use to examine your thoughts and actions.
