Eminem discusses former addiction in Rolling Stone

Rapper Eminem is one celebrity who successfully completed rehab, but feared he would never quit his addictions. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the hip hop artist says he became dependent on sleeping pills while filming the movie 8 Mile. In combination with abusing prescription painkillers, Eminem thought he would end up on the brink of death, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer.

"I'd start with a Valium or two, or three, or four," Eminem said, according to the news source. "And every hour on the hour, I'd pop four or five more. The Ambien would put me over the top to go to sleep."

After overdosing and almost losing his life, the rapper entered rehab and successfully completed the program. He is now in counseling to stay clean and get his life back on track.
